In domestic flights it is the same: apart from the I.V.A. (a special tax), you will have to pay an airport tax of about USD 8.5.When buying your air ticket abroad, you will be charged this tax at the airport.

Transportation

International and domestic airports have transportation services to hotels and the city, such as taxis, shuttle buses and buses, which may be hired directly at your arrival in the airport.

Customs

Vehicles entering Mexico through the frontier will have to obtain a Mexican permit and insurance if they are planning to go further than 25 kilometers from the border zone.
You will be able to enter the country with duty-free objects such as personal use things, clothing, shoes, personal use medicine (with the corresponding prescription in case of psychotropic substances), a video camera, a photographic camera, 12 photographic film rolls, and if you are over 18, 3 liters of alcohol or wine, and 400 cigarettes or 50 cigars.
Anti narcotic traffic checks are common in Mexico City Airport, so don’t get surprised if it is your turn.
